Water Treatment Sales/Business Development Manager

Our client, a well-established and fast growing water treatment/water hygiene company with a large presence across the UK is currently looking to recruit a commercially focused and experienced Water Treatment Sales/Business Development Manager to work in the South East region and will welcome applications from London, Hertfordshire, Essex and the surrounding areas.

They are looking for a professional who must come from strong chemical, technical sales, accounts, consultancy, management and business development background. Must have a proven track record working within this role and the water treatment/legionella industry.
Have a thorough knowledge of Legionella Control – L8 compliance and the water treatment/water legionella.
Will have good communication, client-facing, organisational, people management and presentational skills.

Key Role:

Cross selling the company’s water treatment/hygiene/legionella consultancy services to clients from all levels – commercial, industrial, retail and other markets across the UK.
Managing the company’s existing accounts.
Telesales or approaching the appropriate clients.
Tending to the sales staff.
Preparing quotes and tenders.
Meeting targets or goals.
Managing the department effectively and attending meetings as and when required.
Building and maintaining a good rapport with new and existing clients.


The successful candidate will be versatile, flexible, confident and have the ability to take the business forward.
