We’re looking for a talented, creative, and strategic Account Manager to join our fabulous team. The ideal candidate will be an outgoing, proactive self-starter with outstanding creative communications skills, and equally passionate about food and drink.
Red Kite PR is an independent PR, communications, and social media agency based in London, with a fantastic range of clients. We provide communications, creative and digital strategies for chefs, restaurants, bars, and hotels – pretty much anything in the food & drink world. Our clients range from Michelin-starred restaurants, celebrity chefs, hotel and restaurant groups, to up-and-coming chefs and local, independent bars and eateries.
We’re looking for a brilliant, personable Account Manager to join the team and work across an incredibly exciting portfolio of food and drink clients. Because we’re a small team, you’ll be in direct contact with our clients, supporting them on matters big and small. The role will include supporting Directors as well as maintaining responsibility for a portfolio of clients, helping to grow brands and drive sales through the full range of integrated communications. Alongside supporting the team on existing clients, the new Account Manager will also be fully involved in new business. We’re looking for someone with outstanding client servicing skills; a broad understanding of your clients’ business; campaign management; and the ability to generate ideas and sell them to clients.
3-4 years’ experience – agency or in-house – working on integrated consumer PR campaigns with specific experience in restaurants in London (and ideally across the UK)
Experience across the consumer food and drink/lifestyle sectors, delivering integrated media relations, social, content and influencer campaigns
Strong written and verbal communicator – attention to detail is key
Excellent creative writing skills are crucial
Strong multi-tasking abilities and time management skills
An interest in culture with the ability to identify opportunities for clients. Love of food and drink is absolutely essential!
Social media experience would be a bonus, including community management and influencer engagement, and an understanding of how best to deliver a client’s message across multiple channels
