The Opportunity:
We are exclusively recruiting four newly created Account Manager positions for their expansion in the North East. You will be focusing on the mid-market, although there are opportunities to work with both SME and Enterprise clients. There are no restrictions in terms of verticals as this will be mainly commercial and not Public sector businesses.

Providing a personal service to customers you will be consultative in your approach to selling. Using a customer-focused approach it will enable you to forge meaningful relationships with key stakeholders across hardware, software and managed services.

Focused on delivering excellence in everything that you do. For them, it’s not about the physical products they supply, but more about the overall solution they deliver and the way in which they deliver it.

Reporting to the Sales Director you will be responsible for:

Delivering sales across the North East region;
Developing and nurturing your own leads and taking leads from presales to follow up, harnessing the Marketing team for events and support;
Providing a first class customer-focused approach;
In addition to developing a pipeline of new business you will be responsible for managing a number of key accounts, ensuring a high level of repeat business;
Attend conferences and networking events as and when required to support the needs of the business.

The Candidate:
Degree in a related field of study or relevant experience;
You will be a confident and resilient sales professional;
Come with a proven track record working for a Value Added Reseller;
A strong communicator with capable negotiation skills;
Comfortable working autonomously and happy working from home;
You will have a great combination of business development and account management skills or willing to step up into account management when ready;
Any relevant experience in IT Managed Services would be a distinct advantage, but not essential;
Knowledge of Microsoft Navision CRM, would be nice;
