Davenham Asset Finance is now in it’s second year enjoying substantial growth and significant financial backing with ambitious expansion plans for the future.

Recent changes to Davenham’s offering has dramatically increased the demand for Davenham’s funding resulting in the need to expand our team to meet this increase in demand.

We are now seeking equally ambitious and experienced Business Development Managers to join us to help grow Davenham into a major player in the UK asset finance market.

You should be confident in your own proven ability to generate significant asset lead opportunities via an existing panel of introducers within a large defined territory.

The rewards for success include:

  • Basic salary up to £ 40,000 per annum (strictly in line with experience, track record and performance)
  • Totally uncapped monthly commission
  • OTE £70,000 – £ 100,000 upwards
  • Company car (fully negotiable and performance related)

The Role

  • Working from home on a large local territory.
  • Developing a network of introducing brokers and other professionals.
  • Generating new business opportunities from your network.
  • Writing detailed proposals supporting the proposed lend.
  • Liaising with clients to understand the lending proposition and negotiating formal terms.
  • Maintaining a commercial relationship with the client during the course of the agreement and beyond.

Candidates Requirements

  • Should have a proven track record of exceeding demanding targets in asset finance sales
  • Can operate independently and efficiently within a light touch management culture
  • Existing strong broker relationships are essential.
  • A good knowledge of industrial assets such as commercial vehicles, plant and machines tools would be advantageous
  • Possess excellent credit understanding of small/middle ticket asset finance, in addition to strong communication/organisational skills.
