Business Development Manager – Glasgow

Location: Glasgow (G2 5AH) | Hybrid – 3 days in the office, 2 days remote
Contract: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Package: Competitive base salary + uncapped commission + incentive-based rewards

About the Role

Step into a high‑impact sales role at QA, where you’ll build and grow relationships with new and existing clients across a wide range of industries. As a Business Development Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of promoting our industry‑leading IT & digital apprenticeship programmes — helping businesses upskill their teams or bring in fresh tech talent through our career‑launching pathways.

QA is one of the UK’s top digital and tech apprenticeship providers, giving you a powerful proposition to take to market. You’ll offer clients a suite of impactful solutions, including apprenticeships, access to our QA learning platform, and exciting progression routes like graduate apprenticeships through our exclusive partnership with UWS.

You’ll use best‑in‑class sales techniques, backed by continuous coaching, mentoring, and a collaborative culture where your growth is our priority. At QA, we win together.
What You’ll Do
Drive New Business

Prospect and engage new customers and partners across multiple industries
Open doors, spark conversations, and shape high‑value opportunities

Grow Strong Client Relationships

Maintain and expand existing accounts, becoming a trusted advisor
Run confident, consultative client meetings and tailor solutions to their needs

Close Opportunities with Impact

Prepare compelling quotes, proposals, and high‑quality presentations
Use data and insight to prioritise your pipeline strategically — and exceed targets consistently
