You will be required to identify and develop sales opportunities, understand customer and business requirements, recommend suitable vehicles and solutions, and manage the sales process from initial enquiry through to quotation, order, vehicle handover and ongoing customer support. You will bring your wealth and knowledge to the existing team; the role provides a structured pathway for customer-facing commercial sales position with clear development milestones and progression opportunities. Uncapped commission structure for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities
• Build foundational product knowledge across commercial vehicles, including vans, trucks, chassis, bodies, specifications, and associated products and services.
• Support Sales Managers with customer enquiries, quotations, finance and leasing information, and follow-up communication.
• Assist with vehicle demonstrations, test drives, presentations, and customer handovers.
• Develop an understanding of customer operating requirements and recommend suitable vehicles and specifications.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and support the preparation of sales documentation, quotations, proposals, and order paperwork.
• Assist with the presentation and preparation of vehicles to a high standard for customer viewing and handovers.
• Contribute to dealership events, customer open days, trade shows, promotional activities, and product launches.
• Work collaboratively with Aftersales, Service, Parts, Administration, and Finance teams to support the full customer experience.
• Participate in manufacturer and internal training programmes.
• Undertake general duties to support the Sales Department as required.

Experience and attributes
Essential
• Experience in commercial vehicles or automotive sales is essential.
• Confident communicator with a willingness to learn.
• Good IT skills.
• Full UK driving license.
Desirable
• Experience in a customer-facing or sales role.
• Knowledge or practical experience of vans, trucks, commercial vehicles, or the automotive industry.
• Mechanical or technical understanding.
• Awareness of transport, fleet, or and SME operations
Training & Progression Pathway
You will follow a structured development programme designed to build the knowledge, skills and commercial confidence required to progress into an independent Commercial Vehicle Sales Executive role.
• Induction & Business Familiarisation – Complete company induction and gain an understanding of the business, dealership structure, sales processes, CRM systems, customer standards and key commercial vehicle markets.

Salary starting from £25,000.00 per annum
Commission scheme to be decided
Working hours are 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday
Additional hours and weekends required on an ad hock basis
