We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Sales Advisor to join the team at U-Drive!

​This is a permanent position, offering £25,913.60 per annum.

Working Hours: Within the Central Reservations team at U-Drive we have a number of full-time vacancies, 40 hours per week on a rota basis which includes some Saturdays, on these days you will be eligible to WFH.

Role Overview: As a Customer Sales Advisor at U-Drive, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional customer service while driving vehicle hire sales. Your responsibilities will include responding to customer inquiries, generating quotes, and efficiently converting these inquiries into reservations. With your friendly and professional approach, you will contribute to the overall customer experience and support revenue growth through effective sales techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries in a friendly and efficient manner, demonstrating professionalism and competence.
  • Generate accurate quotes based on customer requirements and convert inquiries into reservations.
  • Utilize internal systems to create and process vehicle bookings.
  • Allocate reservations to the nearest or most suitable rental location.
  • Advise customers on the most suitable vehicles for their needs.
  • Upsell or downsell to maximize utilization for each vehicle group.
  • Maximise revenue by promoting additional products.
  • Enter customer information, sales orders, and payments accurately into the system.
  • Process refunds via credit cards and online payment methods.
  • Efficiently identify and route calls to other departments or extensions.
  • Recognize sales leads that have potential for additional business generation.

Qualifications and Attributes:

  • Possess a full clean UK driving license.
  • Embrace a positive “Can Do” attitude.
  • Demonstrate excellent telephone manners and strong communication skills.
  • Effectively multitask, prioritize, and manage time.
  • Exhibit problem-solving skills and take ownership of tasks.
  • Show resilience in handling customer inquiries and complaints.
