The Delegate Sales Executive

As a delegate sales executive you will be polished, confident, articulate professional, educated, ambitious, fast learner and adaptable. You would be working closely within a dedicated sales team and will be managed and mentored by one of our experienced sales managers. This role would suit someone with a creative and passionate approach to a day to day challenges and take pride in their work. You would be working across a variety of different events and industry sectors. The role will focus on the sales of International delegates. To present and sell delegate places to senior level executive management and to invite them to attend our conferences & workshops and to speak to business leaders interested in attending. Your role would be to grow revenue by selling to new and repeat clients.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • To meet and succeed set event targets as well as monthly and yearly sales targets by selling consistently to all call types with repeat delegates & new clients and prospects.
  • To sell on whichever event as necessity demands as director by your line manager
  • To convince the prospects of the benefits of attending our events
  • Generate sales leads through intelligent & in-depth research
  • To exchange information and give necessary feedback as and when needed by colleagues.
  • To attend all training sessions, team department meetings using the information obtained to work towards constantly improving company services, performance and knowledge of conference topics and selling points
  • To complete accurately and send the daily report sheet to your line manager
  • To make at least 100 calls per day on average over a week
  • To send daily and weekly report sheets to line manager

The right Person: Skills & Experience Required

  • Minimum of 1 – 4 years previous outbound sales experience
  • Proven track record in Sales
  • Excellent communication skills & Able to communicate at all levels
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Persuasive telephone manner
  • Strong telephone sales skills, engaging with prospects and converting to clients
  • Ability to develop relationships and create strong partnerships
  • Ability to negotiate, close deals and influence key stakeholders
  • Excellent Presentation skills
  • Ability to convert leads and deliver partnerships under pressure
  • Ability to develop relationships and create strong partnerships
  • New Business & Account Management

  • Working Visa

Package Basic: £16k – £25k depending on experience with an OTE of £40K (Uncapped Commission)

If you think you have what it takes to be successful in this role you will have unlimited commission potential with an uncapped commission structure.  From time to time you will be required for International Travel.  There will also be a fast track career progression to senior management for the right person.
