We’re now looking for an Internal Sales Executive (ISE) / Administrator to join our team. This is a crucial role responsible for generating leads, managing customer accounts, and driving sales through outstanding service and product knowledge. You’ll work closely with our branch teams, external sales, and support functions to deliver excellent results and help us grow our customer base.
Key responsibilities include:
Customer Relationship Management: Build strong, long-term relationships with customers by understanding their needs, timelines, and material requirements—providing timely support and solutions.
Sales Process Management: Own the full sales cycle—from quote to completion—working closely with stock and transport teams to ensure smooth delivery and aftersales support.
Sales Performance: Consistently work towards (and exceed!) branch and individual sales targets, with a clear focus on volume, margin, and profit.
Lead Generation: Proactively reach out to dormant accounts, follow up on quotes, and work closely with the external sales team to identify local project opportunities
CRM & Administration: Maintain accurate records in our CRM system, keeping quotes and customer activity up to date and assisting with invoicing queries when needed.
Product Knowledge: Develop a strong understanding of our construction materials and industry standards.
Health, Safety & Environment: Champion a safe working environment by actively promoting a culture of safety at all time.
What You’ll Bring:
A proven track record in internal sales or account management
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Strong organisational ability with attention to detail
Confidence using Microsoft Office, CRM tools and sales systems
Ability to work under pressure and hit deadlines
Flexibility and a proactive, team-oriented approach
