Internal Sales Executive

Job Details

As an Internal Sales Executive you will be responsible for driving sales through telephone contact with a wide variety of sourced leads to identify, qualify, and develop quality sales opportunities for the sales team.

Reporting directly to the Sales and Marketing Manager you will be one of a small team looking to grow and expand. The company is looking to grow sales rapidly over a 3 year plan and this position is pivotal to achieving this growth. Joining at the start of this projected growth you will be in a position to grow and develop with the company.

Duties:

  • You will be working on your own initiative with minimal monitoring, working as part of a small team to drive sales.
  • You will be making 60 – 70 outbound calls daily to contacts and companies from a variety of sources.
  • Utilising sales tools provided and knowledge gained you will be able to identify quality leads and convert to sales prospects.
  • Follow- up on leads generated through marketing campaign activity.
  • Utilising key contacts you will gain the required information to determine organisations decision making and thus buying process.
  • Identify high potential prospects and transition qualified leads to the CRM system for further follow up.
  • Obtain a minimum of 40 new enquiries per month
  • Work under general supervision, but a high degree of initiative, creativity and autonomy are required and encouraged.

Skills:

  • You will be someone who thrives on a challenge, have creative telephone negotiation skills and enjoy converting prospects to sales.
  • You will be someone who pushes forward in a target driven environment, with a can do attitude.
  • You will have a background in Telephone Sales, someone who can hit the ground running in an highly autonomous environment.
  • An ability to reach prospects creatively, position products, identifiy decision makers, and handle objections positively and professionally.
  • Proficient in all MS Office applications.
  • Experienced in use of CRM; experience with Zoho preferred
  • Willingness to travel. At times visits to our distribution centre, customers and suppliers may be necessary.
