Full Time – Permanent immediate start

Monday to Thursday – 7:30am – 5:00pm / Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm

Holidays

20 days per year, plus statutory Bank Holidays

About the Role

Handle incoming sales calls and enquiries in a professional and efficient manner

Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers

Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring excellent service and repeat business

Identify sales opportunities and upsell/cross-sell relevant products and services

Process sales orders, prepare quotations, and follow up on outstanding quotes

Liaise with suppliers and coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of products

Work closely with the external sales team to develop and implement account growth strategies

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity in the CRM system

Monitor stock levels and product availability as part of the sales process

Provide after-sales support and resolve customer issues in a timely manner

Requirements

Previous experience in internal sales, customer service, or account management (ideally preferred)

Strong communication skills with a professional and personable manner

Confidence in upselling/cross selling and objection handling

Good attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your time effectively

Knowledge of fixings and fasteners, or experience in the construction supply industry, is a strong advantage – but not essential
