General Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic Sales Account Executive to work alongside the existing sales team. The role will be focused on new business. Consulting with prospects and demonstrating our products.

A successful candidate must be friendly and persuasive. You must be able to present solutions that meet a prospect’s needs in a coherent and professional manner.

Responsibilities

Maintaining high selling standards aligned to the FleetCheck core values.
Adhere to internal SLAs and processes as set by the Sales Manager.

Duties

Answer incoming calls from prospective customers.
Ask relevant questions to understand the prospects requirements.
Record the prospects personal information accurately in a CRM (HubSpot).
Work consistently to the highest standards to achieve or exceed both KPIs and SLAs in line with department objectives.
Be flexible, as directed by your line manager, to cover other activities within the team when required.
Carry out demonstrations on FleetCheck’s software solutions in a professional, consultative manner.
Nurture prospects through the sales pipeline to make sales and contribute to our company targets.

Experience

2+ years of consultative sales experience – required;
Experience in using HubSpot (or equivalent CRM system) – required;
Knowledge of SPIN/GAP selling – desirable;
Understanding of fleet management – desirable.

Skills

Fluent written and spoken English.
The ability to use key software packages competently, including for example: Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Salesforce, HubSpot, Pandadoc.
Positive and approachable with excellent communication, presentation and listening skills.
Confident, flexible, adaptable with a mindset for growth
Ability to make quick, rational decisions under pressure and be ready to rise to a challenge.

Rewards and additional information

Base salary will be in the region of £28-30k pa.
The normal contractual working week is 37.5 hours; a standard day is 7.5 hours.
The work pattern is fixed hours of 9.00am to 5.00pm with 0.5 hour lunch break.
The annual holiday entitlement based on the above working pattern is 25 days – rising to 28 days with length of service.
Contributory pension.
Staff are able to work in a hybrid pattern with 3 days in the office each week, if agreed with their line manager.
