Job Title: Sales Advisor

Location: Sleaford
Job type: Permanent – Full Time.

The working week will be Monday – Sunday with one day off in the week and weekend work on rotational basis. Overtime is often available if required. FGS Furnishings Ltd is a family-run Furniture, Bed & Mattress retailer with retail stores and a significant on-line presence. Trading under the names of The Sleep Shop, Furniture Mill and Sleep To Go. We are currently celebrating our 75th Anniversary.

The Role:

First and foremost is assisting customers to find the right products both in store and on-line, this is both face-to-face, over the phone, through both Email and live chat, using a consultative approach, listening to customers as to their needs and wants to present them with solutions and sensible options. Other duties will include:

Using our in-house CRM system to process sales, schedule deliveries, order goods and manage customer information.
Arranging timely customer deliveries.
Manage customer expectations and resolving issues around customer service.

Candidate Requirements:
The ideal candidate would have their own driving licence. Sales or Customer Service experience is necessary at a basic level, full training will be given on our products and in-house systems. Experience in furniture or bed stores again would be positive, but not essential. Please see below our ideal candidate requirements:

A driving licence is preferred.
An engaging and positive personality with the ability to bond with customers.
Well presented & articulate.
Well Organised.
Excellent PC skills including word, excel and an in-house CRM system that training will be given for
Previous sales/customer service experience (1 year minimum preferably) is required at a basic level. Full training will be given on product features and benefits to help you, help our customers finalise their selection.
