If you are a successful IT and/or Business Application salesman, we have a very interesting and varied role for you. We seek a target driven, new business oriented Business Development Executive. Supported by an active Marketing Department, you will be selling the market leading system in the most exciting IT market sector; mobile data. The role is best suited to a technically capable salesman who is skilled in discovering and understanding business needs and building Return On Investment cases. This involves relating to all staff levels within our target prospects and working with them to promote the benefits of our market leading system to their businesses.
The work will involve:
- Devising and managing sales campaigns in conjunction with our marketing team
- Nurturing your prospects from first appointment through to full post sales relationship management
- Meeting monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Reporting to the board on all aspects of your sales activities.
Skills Required
A proven track record in IT solution sales is ideal but we would consider a candidate with demonstrable success in capital sales in other markets. We sell at virtually every level within our prospect’s businesses, so you must have a strong general understanding of business, excellent oral and written communication skills and the people skills to generate empathy at all business levels
