They’re looking for a Sales & Marketing Director to lead and evolve their commercial engine, scale international markets, and become a key voice in a category-defining industry.

As Sales & Marketing Director, you’ll take full ownership of the commercial function, blending strategic leadership with hands-on execution.

This Sales & Marketing Director will:

– Lead, inspire and develop a growing sales and marketing team (including a Head of Marketing reporting into you).

– Build and execute high-impact commercial strategies across B2B, government, smart city and brand experience markets.

– Optimise a HubSpot-driven sales system and introduce data-led, AI-enhanced prospecting and outreach.

– Strengthen outbound channels to complement strong global inbound demand.

– Manage a sales team of six, instilling accountability, pace, and performance.

– Represent the business externally — in boardrooms, on stage, and across global networks — as a credible, articulate champion for the technology.

– Work directly with the CEO on business strategy and future fundraising.

– Develop strategic partnerships that fuel global expansion.

About this Sales & Marketing Director:

– 10+ years’ experience in sales, marketing, business development or commercial leadership.

– At least 5 years managing a sales team and running a sales & marketing function against KPIs.

– A strong record of revenue growth in fast-paced tech, sustainability, or innovation-led environments.

– Deep understanding of CRM and digital sales ecosystems.

– Confidence using AI tools and automation for pipeline generation and performance optimisation.

– Exceptional communication skills, confident engaging senior corporate and government stakeholders.
