Our business started over 60 years ago and has been in the same family ever since. From our very humble beginnings, we have grown to be in the top 100 car dealers in the country, with an ambition to be in the top 50 very soon. Across our 16 businesses we have a stable workforce of over 400 people, many of whom have been with us for years. About you
We’re looking for an experienced, confident Used Car Sales Manager to join our team at Skoda Leeds. The right candidate will be enterprising and assured in their knowledge, and sales skills, with strong market awareness. The successful applicant will be key to driving Used Car sales and motivating their team to maximise profit and performance surrounding the Used Car market.
We’re looking for excellent communication skills, paired with the desire and know- how to build their team to reach their maximum potential. As Used Car Sales Manager, you will be expected to make sure your team are up to date with product knowledge and training, giving them the best shot at success in the Used Car market. We’re looking for someone who has an abundance of knowledge to impart, and a drive to provide world-class customer service- upholding the D M Keith standards. VWG Accreditation an advantage but not essential.

Your main duties will include, but are not limited to:
Managing all aspects of the processes for used car sales according to budgets, company standards and Group targets
Promoting and nurturing a culture of customer care, delivering care levels consistent with the expectations of the D. M. Keith Group.
Stock and vehicle age management
Utilising monthly management accounts to monitor and control profitability of the Sales Department and to take any appropriate action to maximise future opportunities.
Ensuring optimum use of all material and resources available.
Provide coaching and training to sales people to improve their job performance in the used car market, with particular emphasis on: customer satisfaction, prospecting and customer follow up, sales process, time management and product knowledge.
What we offer:
A competitive salary of £35,000 basic and £25,000 OTE
22 days annual leave, increasing with length of service, plus Bank Holidays
Preferential rates for servicing and repairs on your family and friend’s cars

You will work 5 days per week, an average of 41.5 hours per week.
You are entitled to 2 rest days every week and 2 weekends off in a 4 weeks rota.
Shifts will include:
8am – 5pm / 9am – 6.30pm Monday to Friday
9am – 5.30pm Saturday
10.30am – 4pm Sunday
