Are you an experienced Field based sales executive?

Are you driven by growth and targets?

As Business Development Executive you will be joining a company during a period of continued growth, a well established company in the Peterborough area. This exciting opportunity as a Business Development Executive will be office and field based, visiting clients to maximise sales across all services and products. By building client relationships, identifying opportunities, negotiating and closing sales.

Key responsibilities:

  • Understand clients’ requirements and demonstrate how to provide innovative and tailored solutions that will work with the client to help grow their business
  • Prepare and submit sales presentations that reflects the brief from the client
  • Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs
  • Handle objections by clarifying briefs and working through differences to a positive conclusion
  • Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs when required
  • You are required to grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to clients
  • Manage, research and develop new areas of business to attract new clients in conjunction with Lead Generator
  • Use knowledge of the market and competitors to identify and develop the company’s unique selling points to differentiate from competitors
  • Submit monthly progress reports and sales forecasts and ensure they are met

The person:

  • To be successful you must have experience in a B2B sales environment, ideally in a field based role.
  • You will need to be driven, ambitious and happy in target orientated sales environment.
  • An excellent negotiating style along with excellent communication skills to build effective business relationships.

In return you will be offered uncapped commission with OTE of 30k plus, as well as car allowance or company car, Mac and Phone.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm
