Business Development Executive

Job Details

Due to continued growth Diamond Group is looking to recruit an experienced business development executive to join their team.

Candidates must have previous field sales experience selling technology solutions in a very competitive environment i.e. Reprographics, IT Equipment and Solutions, Telecoms and/or similar technology solutions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Selling a full range of products to all business enterprises across all market sectors with a focus on new business
  • Working remotely and autonomously, accountable for your own success.
  • Capable of generating your own leads and appointments through your own prospecting activities.

Skills and Experience

  • You will have a minimum of 2 years business to business field sales success, selling technology solutions in a very competitive environment.
  • Self-motivated with a strong “Hunter Mentality” in sales to generate new business.
  • The ability to sell complex solutions with multi facets to meet customer needs
  • Experience of solutions selling, being able to uncover, build and justify customer need. Strong IT skills and a good technical aptitude for technology.
  • The ability to generate new business via research and cold calling.
  • Familiarity with selling the benefits of leasing and calculating lease rates etc.
  • Highly professional, ethical and capable of selling at all levels.
  • Hold a full driving licence

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in the sector, combined with exceptional people skills, determination and the will to succeed.
