What does this role involve? 

As a Business Development Manager, you will promote the benefits of Utilita’s Voids service to key decision makers for housing associations, local councils and landlords.

Day to day, you will;

  • develop a network of contacts to attract new clients and research new market opportunities;
  • maintain a portfolio of existing customers, via face-to-face meetings, emails and telephony contact;
  • periodically attending events and exhibitions to increase brand awareness and generate leads;
  • produce sales reports and forecasting data to internal stakeholders:

The Voids service is available for Landlords, housing associations and local councils, where Utilita manage the Gas & Electric supply when a domestic property becomes unoccupied.

Who are we looking for? 

Your excellent time management skills will enable you to manage your time effectively in supporting existing customers and identifying new business prospects.

Covering Yorkshire, you will organise your diary efficiently to prioritise your appointments, to meet with prospective clients to sell the Utilita’s Voids service.

Your strong business acumen and effective communication skills will enable you to present to potential clients in a professional manner.

You will have a good understanding of all Microsoft Office packages, including excel which will enable you to track your results and complete effective reporting.

Full UK driving licence and own vehicle is required.
