We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join a growing team. You will be working for one of the UK’s foremost training providers. This exciting new business development role will offer the chance to make a difference to peoples lives and seriously enhance your own career. You will be based in their South Yorkshire office but would be expected to travel to meet the needs of the clients in order to enhance relationships.
This Business Development Manager role will involve both research & face to face activity to engage & secure apprenticeship opportunities and promote the wide range of funded training courses and programmes on offer from the well respected and recognised training provider.
The Ideal Business Development Manager will:
Be competitive and highly motivated
Have excellent conversational and sales management skills
Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a target driven sales role
Be ambitious and keen to progress
Possess Excellent IT skills and experience of using a CRM
Demonstrate a track record of working toward and exceeding sales targets
Key Business Development Manager Responsibilities include:
Research & develop apprenticeship leads
Attend client meetings to fully assess and understand client need
Cold calling to generate new business customers
Account management of existing customers
Production of monthly sales forecast
Liaison with delivery team to ensure appropriate learners are recruited
Attend networking events as and when required
Assist in the production of direct mailshots
Salary & Package
25,000 basic plus uncapped bonus
Mileage at 40p per mile
25 days holidays plus 8 additional statutory days
