£35,000 – £45,000 + Uncapped Commission + Car + Mobile + Laptop + Pension + 25 days Hols + BH’s

The Company

My client is a key regional player within the market. They have an outstanding reputation within the industry with regards to the bespoke products they can offer, the tight knit culture of the business and the innovative approach to the marketplace. Due to expansion we are currently looking to recruit a National Account Manager based in the South East who will focus primarily on new business development.

The Role

As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for:

  • 80% new business development/prospecting and 20% account management
  • Keeping up to date with products and competitors
  • Structured journey planning to maximise on opportunities
  • Knowledge of UK market and contacts are a must
  • Reporting to the Head of Sales

The Candidate

  • You MUST have experience selling Food into the Foodservice End User marketplace
  • You must be very structured in your approach to your day to day field activities
  • All candidates must have a genuine passion for the industry – you must be a foodie and have the ability to relate to Chefs
  • You must be hungry and driven by success
  • You will be looking to move forward to a new challenge and not running away from something
  • You must be a natural HUNTER – a strong business developer
  • You will be exceptionally strong at relationship building
  • You must be tenacious and willing to apply the work ethic required to be successful
  • You will incredibly driven and have the desire to work in a people-centric environment – you put in the hard work, you will get the support and rewards in return
  • You will live in the South East or London
