HOME BASED ROLE

Get Recruited are supporting a highly successful company who specialise in offering software solutions to the retail and FMCG sectors, who are seeking an experienced, hungry Business Development Manager to join their sales team.

Working from home, you will be using different platforms to identify new leads. You will be expected to attend client meetings, pitching the product and negotiating the contract before closing the sale. Building and maintaining strong relationships is a large part of this role, so you must be confident to attend networking events and client meetings both in the UK and abroad.

THE ROLE:

  • Identifying new sales leads through platforms such as social media
  • Cold calling prospective clients
  • Arranging client visits where appropriate
  • Pitching the products and services
  • Negotiating contracts and closing the sale
  • Building on and maintaining strong relationships with clients
  • Assisting in the planning of and overseeing new marketing initiatives
  • Attending networking events in order to gain new clients and brand recognition

THE PERSON:

  • At least 1 years business development experience is essential
  • Experience selling to the Retail or FMCG sector is highly desirable
  • Full driving license
  • Proactive, self-starter
  • Hungry to succeed and earn a significant amount of money
