Whurk Recruitment are currently acting on behalf of a key client in the Stockton area to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager.

Our client is a global company who are a leader in their field, providing their services to a range of industries for over 30 years. Whilst a large proportion of business is via referral or repeat business, they are looking to add a dynamic new business hunter to their team to widen their customer base.

Skills / Qualities:

  • Previous Business Development experience is essential (we are open to applications from a variety of backgrounds)
  • Proactive approach
  • Natural influencer
  • Outstanding communication (written and verbal)
  • Outgoing personality
  • Impeccable time management

Responsibilities:

  • Targeted Lead Generation – both face to face and over the telephone
  • Manage customer relationships
  • Account management
  • Attending appointments and presenting solutions
  • Working from and updating the company CRM

This is a Full Time, Permanent position working from our clients North East office in Stockton on Tees. Working hours are Monday – Friday 08:30 – 17:00, a company pool car will be available for attending appointments. Basic Salary is £30k with the realistic potential to double this in commission.
