My client is a local business in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear. They now have a requirement for a Business Development Manager to help their continuous growth progress. My client has a great working ethos and can boast some of the most prestigious international brands in their portfolio.

Promoting company products and services through lead generation, cold calling, seminars, trade fairs, social media, local business news and trade fairs.
This role is working in B2B sales with a strong emphasis on face to face selling.
My client offers a very healthy, uncapped commission structure alongside the very competitive salary package.
You will have all the tools and resources to achieve whatever you want, and because of their great partnerships with companies they work with, the success is yours for the taking.
Visiting existing and new potential clients.
Provide management with sales feedback and progress updates.
Setting up sales meetings/appointments.
Communicating new product developments to prospective clients.
A self-starter with a proven background in winning new business and the ability to seek out future business opportunities.
Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
Desirable, however, not essential, you will have experience selling in the Telecoms/IT sales sector.
Experience in selling B2B and essentially face to face.
Strong negotiation skills.
Must hold a valid full UK driving licence.
Proven background in sales and customer growth.
Strong business acumen.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to establish and maintain client relationships.
Negotiable basic salary up to £28,000 depending on experience.
Monday to Friday, Dayshift hours, 9.00am – 5.30pm
Commission based bonus scheme.
Car allowance of £300 per month.
20 Days holiday plus 8 bank holidays.
