Business Development Manager
Hours: Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:00
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 DOE
Location: Lichfield
Contract Type: Permanent
Due to continued growth and expansion, we are currently looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to join our business in Lichfield on a permanent basis. A fabulous opportunity for the right person who has a passion for the premium retail and hospitality industry.
The starting salary is £40,000 – £45,000 basic DOE. Further structure to be discussed at interview stage and the working hours are Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:00 – candiates can have flexibility with the working day.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, markets, and strategic partnerships to drive growth
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
Conduct market research and analyse industry trends
Develop own sales performance and track KPI performance
Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, product) to align on objectives and execution
Liaise with and manage international clientele
Experience and Skills:
Experience in business development, sales, or a related commercial role
Candidates will have experience of sale in the international market as well as domestic markets
Experience of working with clients based in the middle east and UAE is an advantage
Experience identifying and securing new business opportunities
3 years sales experience minimum
Strong communication skills with excellent attention to detail
Experience using CRM systems to manage sales activities
Strong relationship management skills with a focus on client retention and satisfaction
Experience in sales of luxury goods is an advantage
Experience liaising with customers throughout the world with respect to culture and tradition
