Job Details
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for delivering sales performance, customer
development, and brand execution across the South of England. Managing a portfolio
of independent retailers, education accounts, and party wholesalers, the role ensures
effective distribution, promotional execution, and strong customer engagement with
Colart’s B2B portal. The role also requires effective use of internal digital tools, CRM
and PowerBi, to plan activity, analyse performance, and drive data-led decision
making.
The position demands structured territory management, strong commercial capability,
and consistent execution of national and customer-specific plans. The role works
closely with the UK Field Sales Manager, fellow RSMs, and the wider commercial and
marketing teams to ensure alignment with brand and business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
• Territory & Account Management – Deliver sales targets and distribution
objectives through structured territory planning, strong customer relationships,
accurate forecasting, and high-quality in-store execution.
• Sales Execution & Promotional Activity – Implement national campaigns and
tailored promotions, support demos and staff training, and monitor competitor
activity to drive sell-through and brand performance.
• Digital Adoption – Drive customer engagement with the B2B portal and use
CRM and Power BI to plan activity, analyse performance, and optimise
customers’ online presence.
• New Business Development – Identify and develop new opportunities, present
commercial proposals, and expand distribution and brand presence within
existing and new accounts.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration – Align regional activity with national priorities
and work closely with marketing, trade marketing, digital teams, and fellow
RSMs to deliver consistent, brand-aligned execution.
• Reporting & Administration – Provide timely performance reporting, maintain
accurate CRM records and forecasts, and participate in national meetings,
training, and trade events.
