As a Delegate Sales Executive you will be responsible for bringing on new accounts and developing customers across a portfolio of conferences and awards. This will include following up on marketing driven leads, re-engaging lapsed clients, self-sourcing potential new clients and cold calling. Along with account managing and upselling existing loyal customers.
Your key goal will be to grow our business through world class sales across a portfolio of established conferences and awards.
You will be an enthusiastic, driven and entrepreneurial sales executive with a proven track record and genuine desire to succeed in new business and account management sales.
As a Delegate Sales Executive you will have at least 1 years’ experience in a similar role with a proven and successful track record of a consultative new business approach.
Delegate sales experience preferred but not essential.
You will be professional, entrepreneurial, organised and will have strong commercial awareness.
You will also be an excellent communicator with world class sales skills, including negotiation, influencing, creating urgency and closing.
To identify and develop new business leads and develop new business accounts
To ensure maximum delivery against sales targets across portfolio of events
To retain and develop current accounts and re-engage with lapsed accounts
To raise and maintain brand profile
To closely monitor competitor activity and understand the market forces influencing your sectors
To be the recognised face of your portfolio, internally and externally
To maintain a robust and ambitious sales plan
Experienced CRM user (preferably salesforce).
Previous experience with structured sales training.
Must be familiar with general computer use including Microsoft word, excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
