Role: Digital Marketing Executive

Reports to: Digital Marketing Manager

Location: Hybrid- home working with a weekly visit to our base in Spalding, Lincs

Role overview:

Internet service providers aren’t known for their customer service, something we intend to change… by providing ultrafast full fibre connections all the way into our customer’s home or business (FTTP) along with simple propositions, affordable packages, the best possible equipment and support for in-home wi-fi connectivity we are determined to be an internet service provider that our customers want to recommend to their friends. We will be a digital first business and look to provide a range of channels for customers to deal with us.

Alongside that, we want to build a strong credible brand that people know and understand and with a high level of market awareness that drives the right prospects to our website and contact centre that convert.

To help with this, we need a digital marketing executive who can support our marketing team with the execution of key digital campaigns across a variety of mediums including Search, Display, Video and Social.

Key duties/responsibilities:

  • Managing the creation and delivery of effective Paid Search, Display & Video campaigns and reporting on performance/KPIs (Google Ads)
  • Managing the creation and delivery of effective Facebook Ad campaigns and reporting on performance/KPIs
  • Assist in the development of digital marketing strategies
  • Competitor analysis
  • Comfortable working to a budget, overseeing campaign spending, and producing digital marketing performance reports
  • Support the development of engaging content (e.g. videos, presentations, articles)
  • Review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing
  • Assist with website content management and online user journey and website conversion rate optimisations

Skills and qualifications:

  • Over 2 years of previous marketing experience and/or a degree level marketing qualification
  • Background in similar sectors preferred but not essential – telecoms, utilities, financial services
  • Able to demonstrate structured working and ability to manage own workload, staying organised and on top of deadlines and priorities
  • Ability to demonstrate confidence & understanding on how to brief and manage marketing asset creation to third party agencies
  • Confidence with PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Adobe
  • Good analytical skills with knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Knowledge and experience of using Google Ads and Facebook Ads are essential
  • Salesforce/Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience desired but not essential
  • Experience managing paid search and paid social essential
  • Understanding of SEO is desired but not essential
  • Google Tag Manager is desired but not essential
  • Website Content Management desired
  • Team player, good communicator
