An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Executive to join a market leading stockholder, processor and distributor of high quality steel products to the oil, gas, automotive, construction and nuclear industries.
The company is searching for someone who is responsible, reliable and keen to develop their career.
This role will involve working within a thriving and upbeat sales office and revolve around the following day-to-day duties:
Build, develop and increase customer performance and build and develop long term relationships with designated key customers
Understand client requirements at both a strategic and tactical level to be able to offer the best business solutions
Liaise with Sales Managers on opportunities with your customer base and with the Purchasing team to order and manage customer specific stocks
-Ensure accounts trade within current agreed credit limits
-Respond to customer enquiries professionally, promptly and accurately
-Achieve personal KPIs and sales targets
-Sales order acknowledgements / Quote Maintenance / Cancellation
-Maintain sales orders
-Raise purchasing enquiries and purchase requisitions
-Input and convert orders & quotes
-Update of stock sheets
-Running and completing reports
-You will ideally have previous experience in a similar environment,
-You must have drive, tenacity and ambition to develop a long-term sales career within the industry.
