My client is a world leader in their Technological environment and requires an enthusiastic Internal Sales Engineer to join their expanding team in Cambridgeshire area. You will be managing a portfolio of existing accounts to achieve sustainable growth by developing positive relationships and handling customers’ needs using a purposefully built sales force environment to manage all aspects of the customers experience. You will also be involved in generating new sales with their existing product portfolio within key territories and their primary and secondary market segments.

Key Responsibilities for the Internal Sales Engineer job which you will be assisted to achieve include:

> Maintain and expand database of prospects within the assigned territory
> Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls, email and social media
> Manage new business enquiries, including liaising with key pre sales technical teams to ensure internal project process is successful
> Negotiate pricing and terms with all customers within territory in line with regional and global pricing structure and policy

The Internal Sales Engineer will have:

> Technical sales and administration experience in a manufacturing environment
> Proven track record of negotiating supply agreement and pricing contracts
> A good understanding of various sales cycles with a manufacturing environment
