Nine Twenty Technology are delighted to assist in the recruitment of a Head of IT Sales on behalf of our well established Glasgow based technology client. Our Client requires an experienced Head of Sales, and as the product offering is solution based, experience of software/solutions is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote and sell the value of software and services within assigned territory
  • Manage the entire sales cycle including, prospecting, territory development, lead qualification, customer presentations, pricing, negotiating and closing
  • Engage in consultative relationship-building to develop sales opportunities through a combination of prospecting through inbound leads and hunting
  • Understand customer’s environment, overall objectives and requirements to propose the best solution
  • Develop strong customer relationships to ensure maximum satisfaction, repeat business, and increased market share
  • Develop, manage, and maintain industry contacts with decision makers and influencers
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team

Experience:

  • Must have 5-7 years of demonstrated success selling technology or enterprise solutions to the commercial marketplace.
  • Ability to communicate and interface at all levels of a client organisation including making presentations to C-level executives
  • Experience selling ERP, SaaS software and related technology is essential
  • Consistent history of; Exceeding Sales Goals, Closing Skills, Territory Management, Prospecting Skills, Negotiation, Self-Confidence, Product Knowledge and Current Industry Knowledge
  • Proven track record of managing and motivating a sales team
