Internal Sales Representative

Job Introduction

Working within the Internal Sales Team your main responsibility will be to increase company revenue and profitability in line with agreed KPI’s and business standards. To facilitate this, your area of focus will be to support the regional operations team with increasing revenue and profit through the local customer portfolio assigned to you and ad hoc campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

Generate spend from lapsed and new business accounts, through telephone and email communication.
Be proactive and confident in generating business from cold leads.
Actively work with the wider Sales Teams to share leads and opportunities within the Customer Pyramid.
Meet agreed revenue and profit targets.
Take a proactive approach to growing existing accounts within your agreed portfolio.
Deliver high level of customer care in line with customer SLA’s.
Ensure the CRM system is kept up to date with activity at all times & data quality is of a high standard.
Ensure pricing guidelines are adhered to.
Build and maintain positive, professional relationships throughout different levels of the organisation.
Work closely with the operations team to meet budgeted revenue and profit targets.
Thorough review and utilisation of the monthly sales KPI report, track performance of accounts.
Promote change positively and assist in embedding new concepts.

When considered necessary or appropriate by the company you may be required to carry out any duties considered within your skill and competence to assist the smooth running of the business.

The Ideal Candidate

Highly organised
Possess an excellent telephone manner
Ability to work accurately and at pace
Excellent communications skills
Positive ‘can do’ attitude
Highly driven and motivated
Excellent relationship builder
Intermediate IT skills, including the ability to analyse data
Experience of working within the tool hire industry (desirable)
