Reporting directly to the Marketing Coordinator, the Marketing Executive will develop a social media and email strategy that reflects the promotional calendar and will act as the voice of our brand. The Marketing Executive will also collaborate with the Grassroots & Community Marketing Executive on an operational level to organise and build community activity and boost brand awareness.
manage and execute promotional and educational email strategy including segmentation, copy writing, design and scheduling
report on email results and evaluate tactics against key performance metrics
copy writing for social media, website and blogs
develop and implement an overarching social media content plan that incorporates communication and promotional activity
build and manage asset and content libraries for engaging copy, images, and video that can be used across all marketing channels
enhance and update website content to ensure brand consistency and higher user engagement
assist the development and timely execution of all brand initiatives (e.g. product launches, sales promotions, major email campaigns, etc.)
develop and improve current programmes to capture email leads
manage affiliate sales channels and third-party channels such as Mention Me, Run for Charity and Rakuten affiliate network
research and provide recommendations regularly to improve customer experience and user journey via content and communications
organise and oversee on-site social media coverage
actively search out new channels and opportunities to promote the brand
Qualifications and Required Characteristics:
educated to degree level or equivalent
strong written and oral communication skills, high attention to detail is mandatory
experience in HTML and CSS coding for email and WordPress based CMS preferable
proactive, self-motivated and solutions-oriented
role suits someone of an energetic, positive and confident disposition
strong sense of teamwork with the ability to foster relationships
knowledge of how to use digital tools, up-to-date on latest online tools and trends
an ability to make decisions based on data a major plus
experience with social media post planning services (e.g. Sprout)
looking for candidates with a strong business sense, keen to make a difference in a small and growing team at an exciting time of expansion
knowledge of or ability to use Adobe Creative Suite is a bonus
Hours of Work:
The employee is required to work 42.5 hours per week. However, the nature of the role means that unusual hours are to be expected – around events, partner entertainment and any travel. Any applicant should be willing and able to work a certain number of weekends attending the events.
