Your New Role

Are you an experienced Sales Manager within the Marine industry wanting to progress within the world’s largest survival technology provider? Are you dedicated to driving business growth?

Reporting into the Head of Sales you will manage aftermarket contracts assigned/agreed customer accounts or prospects to sell company products such as new build projects within Southeast Asia with a focus Singapore’s marine industry. You will focus on meeting personal sales targets, new business development, maintaining customer relationships, and troubleshooting specific customer problems.

If you are naturally sales hungry and have a background in FPSO’s/new build projects within the marine industry and possess excellent interpersonal skills and thrive on driving customer commitment and revenue growth, then you should apply for this role.

What You Can Expect from the Role

Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:

Drive organic business growth, by generating revenue from new and existing customers and markets. Own and manage all direct sales channels and the bid activity required to serve those channels.
Provide deep customer insights back into the Product team, ensuring Survitec deeply understand customer needs.
Contacts assigned/agreed customers or prospects to sell company products within a designated geography or market sector. Focuses on meeting personal sales targets, new business development, maintaining customer relationships and troubleshooting specific customer problems.
Develops a sales plan to deliver revenue retention, revenue growth and new business for personal customer portfolio or sector, to meet or exceed personal sales targets and drive overall organic business growth ambition.
Develops and implements client relationship management plans to identify and build relationships with relevant decision makers and influencers within own customer portfolio organisations; enables effective two-way flow of information and develops understanding of where Survitec can deliver customer value and resolve issues.
Sets clear objectives for each sales call or meeting; adapts standard materials to make engaging presentations to customer decision makers and influencers; asks relevant questions to gather information, evaluate the customers’ level of interest and to identify and respond to areas requiring further information or explanation.
Develops a personal network within the business sector and represents Survitec with customers and at business sector events. Obtains market intelligence and enhances the visibility and reputation of Survitec, its products, services and ability to provide holistic safety solutions.
Configures product and services solutions and associated contractual terms that meet the customers’ mid- to long-term needs, taking input from relevant internal specialists. Presents the solution to customer representatives and negotiates agreement within a pre-defined range of commercial parameters.
Collaborates internally and works as the customer champion in cross-functional teams to build strong external customer relationships.

Experience as a Sales Manager within the Marine or Fire industry
Experience in direct sales
