We are currently recruiting for a National Business Development Manager for Car and Van reporting into the Head of National Fleets.
Working with the National Account Managers to implement new business wins, you will also be responsible for a seamless handover.
This is a home based role, you will ideally be based in the Midlands or the South of England.
You will be responsible for identifying prospective customers in the Leasing and B2B arena and converting these into new business opportunities to increase market share and profitable growth year on year.
In a challenging market, you will need to demonstrate added value and create and develop a strong pipeline of prospects with a high level conversation rate into long term partnership relationships.
Taking a lead role in the implementation of new business wins, you will manage the tendering process with the assistance of the Implementation Manager.
You will operate with the Customer at the forefront of all activity and keep yourself up to date of the market place and the influences within the market. You will develop a clear understanding of our Customers and their expectations in order to manage their requirements and deliverables.
During the implementation process and the first few months of trading, you will assist in the investigation and resolution of customer complaints, help to identify issues and make recommendations for improvements in Customer service.
The ideal candidate for this role must have a good knowledge of the tyre industry and a proven track record of winning new accounts through solution selling. Experience of building and delivering complex business proposals as well as communicating and presenting at all levels both internally and with prospects is a must.
Ambitious and target driven with your sights set firmly on sales performance, you will have the ability to create strong business alliances at all levels, from operational contacts to senior board members.
You will be considered in your approach and have excellent communication skills coupled with strong negotiation skills. You will be confident in using Microsoft Office packages and have experience of using a CRM system.
