My client is exceptional successful and entrepreneurial Foodservice distributor who pride themselves on their non-corporate approach to their employees – everyone is part of the family. They are a progressive, growing and forward-thinking business. We are currently recruiting for a Regional Account Manager to take the reins of the North London/North M25/M40 area.

The Role

  • 40% of your role will be prospecting for new business and 60% will be focussed on maintaining, growing and developing existing accounts
  • You will inherit Key Accounts to drive with and then be responsible for the on-boarding of brand new Key Accounts
  • A full and complete job description will be available to successful candidates following a telephone screening

The Candidate

  • Previous experience as a Business Development Manager/Area Sales Manager/Territory Sales Manager/Account Manager within the Foodservice sector would be ideal or a Chef with sales experience or Catering Equipment sales experience
  • You must have strong logistical knowledge of the South East
  • You must have a genuine passion for food and ideally an understanding of menu development
  • You must have an exceptional work ethic and the attitude that you are always willing to go the extra mile
  • Equally as strong at business development and key account management
  • Your sales approach must be consultative not transactional
  • You will have experience of managing margins, customer profitability and sales targets
