Profile sought: Regional Sales Manager

Responsibilities: To support further domestic commercial development, Timac Agro UK, manufacturer and marketer of added value fertilizers and animal nutrition/welfare products, are looking to recruit a Regional Sales Manager.

The position will be home/field based, within a specified sales area. Positions are sought throughout the UK.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will have to further develop Timac Agro’s business activity in the agricultural marketplace, within the geographical area assigned.

Main objectives of the role will be:

Identify, develop and manage key distribution channels for the business. Partnering with key players in the local agricultural marketplace, bringing Timac Agro products to market.
Be the face of the business, operating with a genuine interest in improving grassland, crop or animal-based performance for a portfolio of clients.
Build, train and manage a team of field sales professionals, to sell product on farm
Take ownership of the localised P&L for the business, and contribute to the overall commercial success of Timac Agro UK

The ideal profile we are looking for:

Bachelor degree or higher in Sciences/Agriculture or International Business Administration/International Sales, Marketing or related field is preferable
Significant experience in sales of agricultural products and/or familiar with trading commodities is preferred
Work independently and possess a high level of self-motivation and initiative
Excellent skills in negotiation, communication and interpersonal relationships
Result oriented and strong entrepreneurial spirit
Tenacity, analytical and excellent sales capabilities
