Sales Consultant (Software)

Location: Gateshead

Salary: £30,900 plus uncapped commission (realistic year one OTE of £45,000 – £50,000)

Our client, a leading provider of innovative software solutions for schools across the UK, is seeking a dynamic Sales consultant who has a passion for Sales, education & making a difference to children’s lives. Our client has revolutionized the educational landscape, positively impacting thousands of students with their cutting-edge software solutions in both English & Maths.

Basic salary of £30,900
Uncapped commission structure with achievable targets, offering a realistic year one OTE of £45,000 – £50,000

The Role:

As a Sales Account Manager you’ll be responsible for driving sales within a designated geographic area, focusing on approximately 3,000 primary and secondary schools.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop a strategic sales plan tailored to your territory
Utilize a mix of tactics to engage prospects & generate appointments
Prioritize tasks to maximize productivity and achieve objectives
Establish personal brand presence through social media
Deliver product demonstrations both in-person and via virtual platforms
Collaborate with educators to facilitate product trials
Close sales deals

Whether you have a background in education sales or bring transferable skills, we’re interested in hearing from you if you possess:

Enthusiasm and a natural curiosity for understanding customer needs
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Active listening skills with a knack for empathy and qualification
Negotiation skills with a focus on solution-selling
Demonstrated track record of success in a target-driven sales role
