Sales Director – Global Business Consultancy – Dorset. A fantastic opportunity to join a highly ambitious and well-established organisation that provides operational and travel risk assessment services, innovative technology solutions and comprehensive medical assistance services to clients all over the world.

Sales Director Responsibilities

You will be responsible for leading a team of high performing Business Development Managers and Account Directors, whilst having some personal responsibility for delivering revenue through the retention and development of your own clients. To do this, you will put in place key performance metrics and ensure the team are motivated to hit their targets, attend speculative and formal meetings with clients, implement strategies to grow revenues and represent the company at industry events. You will also need to have, or develop an in-depth understanding of the risk and security industries to enable a consultative approach when working with clients and produce management reports for the board.

You will be measured on the financial performance of the team, total value and satisfaction of accounts, value of pipeline, closed business, number of meetings and client reviews carried out.

Sales Director Skills Required

  • A track record of sales leaderships; preferably in similar sector such as travel risk management, security services, travel/risk insurance sector etc.
  • Inspirational people leader with the ability to get the best out of teams
  • Degree educated
  • Articulate, professional and credible
  • Comfortable and confident delivering to C Level executives
  • Excellent relationship management and reporting skills
  • Open to domestic and international travel


Sales Director Package 

A highly competitive basic salary (depending on experience) to be discussed on application, plus exceptional, uncapped bonus, car allowance, + benefits.
