Are you an experienced Account Manager with a background in FMCG packaging and artwork, looking to take ownership of a major international retail account?

Our client is an established global packaging, artwork and localisation agency working with some of Europe’s leading retailers and consumer brands. They are looking for a Senior Packaging Account Manager to lead a newly secured international retail account, overseeing complex packaging artwork programmes and building strong relationships with key client stakeholders.

The Role

As the Senior Packaging Account Manager, you’ll take full ownership of a major retail packaging account, managing projects from initial brief through to final production.

Working closely with Project Managers, creative teams, artwork specialists, production and quality assurance teams, you’ll ensure packaging artwork is delivered accurately, on time and in line with retailer specifications. Alongside project delivery, you’ll build trusted client relationships and act as the key point of contact for senior client stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

Lead a major international retail packaging account, acting as the primary client contact.
Manage end-to-end packaging artwork and localisation projects from brief through to production.
Oversee large-scale SKU rollout programmes across multiple product categories.
Coordinate artwork, creative, production and quality assurance teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Monitor project timelines, budgets and resource planning.
Ensure packaging artwork complies with retailer specifications, regulatory requirements and brand guidelines.
Build strong, long-term relationships with client stakeholders through regular communication and review meetings.
Prepare project reports, forecasts and client updates.
Identify opportunities to strengthen client partnerships and support account growth.
Travel to Amsterdam for client meetings and project delivery as required.

About You

You’ll be an experienced Account Manager with a proven background in FMCG packaging, artwork or brand implementation. You’ll enjoy managing complex projects, building long-term client relationships and delivering high-quality work within a fast-paced agency environment.

Ideally, you’ll have:

Proven experience managing FMCG packaging and artwork projects.
Experience within a packaging agency, brand implementation agency or FMCG production environment.
Strong knowledge of packaging artwork workflows, version control and print production processes.
Experience managing large-scale retail packaging or multi-SKU rollout programmes.
Excellent client relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets and project priorities.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
The ability to build lasting client relationships while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Desirable Experience

Experience working with European grocery retailers or international FMCG brands.
Experience managing international packaging or localisation projects.

What’s on Offer

Circa £60,000 salary depending on experience.
