New Business Sales Executive

Job Details

Our client is seeking a motivated and hardworking Telesales Executive to join their large software business based in central Exeter. They are an award winning company who are looking to expand their current sales team an on-board a number of key lead generators.

You will be responsible for managing incoming leads and updating the sales platform whilst supporting the company’s Account Managers and Business Development Managers with organising meetings and sales pitches.

Your responsibilities will include: 

• Acting as the first point of contact for any new business enquiries
• Increasing the company’s client base through lead generation
• Setting up appointments for the Business Development Managers to attend and supporting with sales pitch collateral
• Making quality telemarketing calls to qualify new business wins
• Social media updates across all platforms including Linkedin, Facebook and Twitter
• Working to targets and KPI’s set by line management

The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience in working towards and exceeding targets
• Be familiar and happy with making cold calls when required
• Be able to research companies to target in order to generate new business sales
• Be experienced in talking to customers and prospects, and have the ability to explain the company’s products with ease
• IT literate across Microsoft Office Suite and use of a CRM system
