We are seeking to appoint a Trainee New Business Development Associate to join our team at our Haslingden UK Site.
Role Overview:
As a Trainee New Business Development Associate, you will work alongside the internal sales representatives in assisting the growth and development of new business opportunities across all areas of the business. You will be able to create and maintain accurate records, and ensure every effort is made to convert leads in a timely and effective manner. You will collaborate with various areas within the business. If you are customer-focused, target driven, and want to make an impact, keep reading!
Responsibilities:
Corresponding with potential customers to meet their needs and upsell where possible
Updating and maintaining customer records
Searching for new leads on search engines
Contacting potential leads from given databases
Updating and contacting customers via various social media platforms including LinkedIn Sales Navigator
Arranging appointments for larger new business customers with the external sales representatives
Requirements:
A dedicated approach, ensuring all duties are completed accurately and in a timely manner
A commitment to work well with others and develop strong work relationships
Excellent communication skills
Being able to work under your own initiative
Ability to understand and comply with company regulations
Be customer focused and target driven
