About the Role
We’re looking for a commercially minded Account Executive Construction to take ownership of an established portfolio of construction customers and help us deepen relationships, increase share of wallet, and retain long-term business.
This role is about owning key accounts, becoming a trusted partner to customers, and ensuring Site-Equip is their first choice for welfare and sanitation solutions across every site and project.
You’ll work closely with our construction sales team, taking over newly won accounts once embedded, nurturing them into long-term, high-value customers, and representing Site-Equip across the construction sector. With uncapped commission, your effort and results directly drive your earnings.
Key Responsibilities
Managing and developing a portfolio of existing construction accounts
Retaining customers through excellent service, proactive communication, and commercial insight
Growing share of wallet by identifying additional sites, phases, and product opportunities
Taking ownership of accounts transitioned from the New Business team and embedding long-term relationships
Acting as the main point of contact for customers across multiple projects
Advising clients on the most effective welfare and sanitation solutions for their sites
Producing quotes, negotiating commercial terms, and managing contract renewals
Working closely with operations, transport, and accounts to ensure seamless delivery
Resolving issues quickly and professionally to protect customer relationships
Attending construction networking events, industry forums, and exhibitions
Feeding market insight back into the wider sales and leadership teams
This role is about trust, consistency, and commercial growth, with every deal adding directly to your commission potential.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in account management, relationship management, or B2B sales
Strong understanding of customer retention and account growth
Experience within construction, hire, or a related sector (highly desirable)
Commercially astute, with confidence discussing pricing, contracts, and value
Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple live accounts
Confident using CRM systems and MS Office
What You’ll Get
£28,000 – £32,000 basic salary (DOE)
Uncapped commission — the more you grow accounts, the more you earn
Established customer base from day one
Opportunity to influence customer strategy and account planning
Clear progression into Senior Account Manager or Sales Lead roles as the team grows
Supportive, well-structured operational and sales teams
