We are currently supporting the recruitment of an experienced Account Manager for a leading fashion retail manufacturer.

We are looking for an Account Manager with a proven track record and experience in managing high profile accounts, developing new accounts and going after new business wins, ideally with a knitwear or fashion background.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Manage a number of existing high profile client accounts
  • Identify new business opportunities and developing future business
  • Grow and maintain relationships with existing customers and develop accounts
  • Maximise sales opportunities in line with challenging forecasts
  • Contributing to achieving company sales targets and objectives
  • Manage costs and resources to ensure targets are achieved within budget constraints
  • Keep up to date with ever changing market trends
  • Attend regular customer sales meetings
  • UK and European travel on a regular basis

Skills and experience required:

  • Minimum of three years account management experience within knitwear or fashion is essential
  • Previous experience developing new business and growing accounts
  • Excellent customer relationship building skills
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Good communication skills – written and verbal and with strong presentation skills
  • Product development knowledge

Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 5.00pm and Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm
  • Additional hours may be required

Salary and benefits:

  • £30,000 – £45,000 dependent on experience
  • £10,000+achievable bonus
  • Fully expensed company car
