Location: UK – with some international travel

As part of our expansion, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Aviation X-Ray Sales Representative to join our team.

Job Overview: As an Aviation X-Ray Sales Representative at Todd Research, you will play a crucial role in promoting and selling our portfolio of state-of-the-art X-ray screening and metal detection solutions to aviation clients You will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers in the aviation industry, understanding their security needs, budgets and offering tailored solutions that enhance safety and compliance.  Although aviation sales experience is preferred, Todd Research can consider experience gained selling other high value equipment into similar industries and full training will be given on the Todd Research portfolio of products.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy and Planning:
    • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to target the aviation sector.
    • Identify key accounts and establish relationships with stakeholders in airports, airlines, and aviation security organizations.
  2. Product Knowledge:
    • Stay up to date on Todd Research’s X-ray screening products and technologies.
    • Articulate the features and benefits of our products to potential clients.
  3. Client Engagement:
    • Conduct presentations and demonstrations to showcase Todd Research’s X-ray solutions.
    • Represent Todd Research at trade shows / events.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with aviation clients, addressing their concerns and providing effective solutions.
    • achieve sales targets, demonstrating a consistent ability to meet or    exceed KPI goals.
    • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
    • Record activity and customer engagement on Hubspot CRM System
  4. Collaboration:
    • Work closely with Todd Research’s technical and support teams to ensure seamless integration and customer satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to share market insights and best practices.

Background:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, within in the aviation or similar industry
  • Knowledge of X-ray screening technologies and security solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Full driving Licence

Education and Experience:

  • Degree / Higher Education qualified.
  • Minimum of 5 years of successful aviation or similar sales experience, with a focus on security solutions.
  • IT literate – Microsoft Office
