As a Business Development Executive you will play a pivotal role in contributing towards our targets for 20% year on year growth in our new and existing product lines. You will help our new customers understand the Alcumus Safe Suite of Solutions to make their business more compliant, safer and stronger.

You’ll join an motivated and energetic team that works from inbound and outbound leads to generate new business opportunities meaning greater revenue potential for Alcumus. This role will have the opportunity to upsell and cross sell in a consultative manor.

What that means day to day

You’ll obtain and qualify leads via lead generation methods whilst working through the database of clients to talk to them through through both the SafeContractor and SafeWorkforce offerings.
Develop a targeted strategy to identify and win new business in line with annual targets.
Talking to potential clients about what their needs are and how we can support them with a solution. You will also work with the client to obtain the right level of membership needed and sending out sales quotes.
Lead all communications with prospective customers to maximise new business conversion from a volume and value perspective.
Cleansing your sales data every week to make sure that all the information relating to the contractor is up to date.
Meet and exceed new business and KPI targets to ensure desirable revenue generation and behaviours that are consistent with a sustainable business.

What you’ll need to be successful

To be successful in this role, you will have 360 B2B telephone sales experience/Recruitment experience. You will possess confidence in following up leads through to successful conversion. You will have experience working in an inbound and outbound sales position. You will have a strong track record of delivery to target in a new business environment, with proven experience in developing strong client relationships, setting and managing stakeholder expectations.

You will possess excellent communication skills, and organisational skills to managing an active sales pipeline. You will need to be comfortable managing multiple workloads and working at pace.
