Business Development Manager – Homecare / Complex Care 📍 Base Location: Rochdale
💷 Salary: Up to £35,000 basic | £70,000 OTE
🕒 Full-time | Permanent
🚗 Travel across the North East required
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in homecare and complex care to drive growth across the North East. This is a high-impact, commercially focused role suited to someone who understands care commissioning, relationship-building, and service development within the homecare sector.
The Role As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:
Identifying and securing new business opportunities within homecare and complex care services
Building strong relationships with commissioners, local authorities, ICBs, and private clients
Expanding care packages and service provision across the North East
Supporting service growth through tenders, referrals, and strategic partnerships
Working closely with operational teams to ensure smooth mobilisation of new packages
Representing the organisation at networking events and stakeholder meetings
About You We are looking for someone who:
Has 5 years’ experience within the homecare sector
Has proven business development experience in homecare or complex care
Understands commissioning, frameworks, and care pathways
Is commercially driven, confident, and results-focused
Has strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
Is comfortable travelling regularly across the North East
