Business Development Manager

Job Details

In this role you will be generating new business by contacting prospective clients, following up sales leads, making appointments and maximising sales opportunities to ensure monthly and quarterly targets are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

• Making outbound calls and sending out emails to prospective clients
• Dealing with incoming emails and inbound calls relating to new enquiries
• Proactively researching and contacting new leads
• Updating and maintaining customer information on CRM system
• Generating appointments for external ASM to trial/demo products
• Dealing with completion and collection of trial requests
• Building relationships with external ASM’s
• Monitoring sales performance against monthly/quarterly targets and ensuring targets are met and exceeded
• Ensuring all departments (accounts/service/purchasing etc.) are updated on issues requiring their attention
Essential Skills/ Experience:

• Current experience in sales/business development with the ability to consistently achieve sales targets is essential
• Confident and persuasive telephone manner
• Customer focused with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good MS Office and CRM skills
• Ability to work well in a team
