Position Overview

We’re looking for a Field Sales Representative to join our team and help grow our network of takeaway partners across Scotland with a primary focus on forming partnerships with Chinese takeaways and restaurants.

Based on prior experience, these types of businesses face language barriers when adopting new platforms, so we’re specifically looking for someone who is fluent in both spoken and written English and Mandarin. Cantonese fluency is also desirable, though not essential.

While Chinese takeaways and restaurants will be your main focus, you’ll also engage with businesses serving other cuisine types to help expand our platform offering.

This is a field-based role where you’ll manage your own schedule, visit takeaway/restaurant premises and represent Scoffable in the community. You’ll typically work within a designated area (e.g. Central Scotland), but must be willing to travel as required to maximise coverage and support vendor growth.
Key Responsibilities

Recruit new partners from your assigned prospect list, (there will be a primary focus on Chinese takeaways and restaurants).
Maximising choice and expanding coverage for customers of Scoffable.
Installing Scoffable equipment and branding at partner locations.
Maintaining relationships with existing partners, including servicing and branding refreshes.
Meeting and exceeding monthly sales targets.
Performing a range of supporting administrative tasks.
Assisting with onboarding and mentoring new sales team members if required.

Required Skills

Fluent in English and Mandarin (spoken and written).
Additional Cantonese fluency an advantage.
Understanding of Chinese culture and business practices is a plus.
Proven experience in field sales or B2B sales (ideally in hospitality).
Strong interpersonal skills with confidence in engaging with partner owners.
Technologically confident and quick to learn new systems.
Highly self-motivated and able to manage your own workload.
Full UK driving licence.

Job Particulars

Work Hours: Monday to Friday (Core Hours: 3pm-11pm)
Salary: £29K Basic Salary + Commission (OTE £39K+)
