Junior Sales Manager

If you are an Account Executive looking for the opportunity to develop into national accounts this is a great chance to move into a role where you will have responsibility for your own accounts.

Our client are going through an exciting time of growth and are now seeking a Sales Manager to join their dynamic team.

You will be responsible for building and maintaining, the existing effective customer relationships and increase business where possible, to ensure that long-term profitable business growth is secured. As Sales Manager (reporting into the Commercial Manager) you will take responsibility for several of our client’s Grocery customers’ accounts and export customers.

You will help drive the NPD agenda aligned to sales requirements and identify emerging market trends with supporting data.

In addition you will also take responsibility for arranging and attending trade shows and attending consumer exhibitions. This may involve some weekend work.

The role is predominantly based in Boston, with some travel at various times throughout the year.

We are looking for someone with great commercial awareness and strong interpersonal skills with a desire for personal development. You must be able to illustrate a competent level of sales experience especially within an FMCG business.

Experience/skills/attributes

Previous experience of working in a client focused environment.

Track record of achieving targets/KPI’s.

Ability to communicate with clients at all levels.

Ability to assess and understand customer needs to fulfil their requirements.

Adaptable to change

Capable of evidencing strong personal organisation and time management skills.

An ability to use initiative to provide innovative client solutions.
